Sorry: all the T-Systems Media&Broadcast Links as mentioned below do no longer work. We contacted them again in 2007 in order to be informed about other URLs and were told that the title of the new reference link is called:
Digital Cinema Solutions.
In the meantime the name of the company changed into Media Broadcast - after beeing sold to TDF.

Therfoe: Here you will find just some snippets about some of our joint activities, as we had collected them in the years 2002 to 2004:

- "T-Systems bringt Elton-John-Konzert in deutsche Kinos"
Frankfurt am Main, 16.02.2004
Ein Konzertereignis der Spitzenklasse: Elton John tritt Ende Februar im Royal Opera House im Covent Garden in London auf. Wer live dabei sein will, braucht kein teures Ticket.

- Further information concerning the T-Systems Media&Broadcast activities and offers at the BERLINALE 2005 published by the festival organizer in English:

The Berlinale is grateful to T-Systems for providing the streaming of moving images for the Festival’s website for the second year running. When it was introduced last year, these webstreams led to a 150 percent increase in visitors to the site. All the Festival’s press conferences are streamed and, more importantly, archived, in German and English, for PCs. This service has become an invaluable tool for editorial coverage of the festival. Images of stars walking down the red carpet in front of the Berlinale-Palast, as well as the Gala Opening, the daily gala presentations of Competition films and the Awards Ceremony are just some of the events available via streaming, thus making the Festival’s importance visible all over the world.

A video database containing one-minute video applications of successful participants of the Berlinale Talent Campus # 3 will once again be streamed to the Campus venue at the House of World Cultures. For the 530 Campus participants, this link to the database represents both a live platform and an opportunity for participants to make direct contact with each other. And, for visitors to the website
www.berlinale-talentcampus.de , this streaming offers a means of participating in selected events. In future, this virtual Berlinale Talent Campus will be expanded into a live, year-round forum.

By installing a local, temporary server in three of the Berlinale’s cinemas (CineStar 2, 3 and 7) T-Systems has also made it possible to have digital cinema in these theatres. T-Systems also provide all the required projectors and other players, (including a HD player as well as digital and DV players), in association with the company Film Ton Technik Rüttgers.

The excellent support the Festival receives from both T-Systems and Film Ton Technik Rüttgers goes hand in hand with the committed staff working for both of these companies. The festival is especially grateful for their generous assistance in helping the Berlinale to go digital.
